    Hello

the bolbitis, a small one, doesnt seem to be growing well.
the whole plant feels very 'rigid', very stiff. almost like its drying up
i dont really know how to describe but it feels hard to the touch
the leaves arent growing fully form, and is a little ragged.
    can anyone give any advice?

i use a 2 LED light tubes (bought from led seller in forums)
fert: Borneowild lush/essence k/growth (2ml of each everyday)
    1.5 ft tank (40litres)

I myself have very little luck with this plant too. I got these from 2 different bros here.
The first one melted , left only the rhizomes and the roots are covered with algea. The new leaves are shooting out very slowly.
The second one are a foot tall but the leaves are browning and melting too.
Guess they self destruct when in a new environment and regrowth is slow. They are hardy and sort of "won't die", similar to java fern.

I am running co2 and t5ho and lushgrow but no chiller. Heard that they grow faster with cooler temperature.

melt badly. Make sure you tie the rhizome to rocks or wood instead plant it on the soil/gravel. Do you inject CO2? The light on the photo look dim.

For me, I tied them to wood, lava rock & metal mesh, all melted.

those melted leaf will not grow back, trim it as close as to the rhizome.

Oh!!!! Cool water temperature, good lighting and sufficient CO2 is the key to success.
