It's definitely a Synodontis, which variant exactly i'm not too sure!
Hi guys,
Please ID the below catfish for me. It was sold to me as an upside-down catfish but this particular specimen swims upright and has never flipped upside-down in my tank before. Hoping to get a positive ID on it. Thanks!

Highly likely to be Synodontis eupterus, which is commonly sold locally, and does not usually swim upside-down most of the time. When young they are very attractive but they get aggressive as they grow larger and become more drab. The pattern seems to change into small black spots on a dark grayish-brown body. The dorsal fin does get pretty impressive with age though.
Fish.. Simply Irresistable
