If i discharge it downwards, does it reduce the oxygen level in the water?
hi,
you may want to invest in the inexpensive rainbar to disperse the pressure.
just my 2 cents worth.
I want to do that. But the sound of the water splashing annoys my dad..
You can just as easily place the rainbar below the water surface. Voila! No sound of water splashing.
Setup: ADA Cube Garden 45-P, Starlitz Clear 45, Eheim Aquacompact 40

If the fish you had was Leptobarbus rubripinna, then it should not have died from the current unless it was excessively strong. These are river dwelling fish that can handle some form of current but unless the current was like a washing machine, I doubt the fish would have died. It is crucial to consider other factors like water parameters and/or disease as well.
Fish.. Simply Irresistable
Back to Killies... slowly.
Perhaps... I just bought that paroon shark A.K.A chao phyara.. Maybe it died because of stress. Many thanks to whomever have helped and look at this post!
