Does the following pics represent two different species??? I believe the first group is Parachela oxygastroides, what about the second?

your second group is it just one fish or many fish that from different batch?
got a batch of 6 fishes from TB Ben, 4 of the first kind, 2 of the second whose scoop-shaped head is quite distinct, also the tail does not have black fringes. all are mixed in the same tank at Ben's.

then should not be a deformed specimen.

chris, just edited my images for the unknown parachela, the image link has changed completely. so it appears that imagestation may amend the links from time to time, possibly due to storage maintenance. not a very good thing to have!
