OK, still trying to ID these fishes. They are very small, size of Boraras maculatus or mosquito rasbora, about 1-1.5cm, even the malayan shrimps are bigger! Got them from TB Ben, he calls it "green-line". More pics here…

your links are broken because the you need not put the URL in quotes…

I believe the second one (Microrasbora nana) is closest in terms of the size as well, except the RVA pics show black trims on the fins and mine are clear. Have you seen the M. nana in real life? Which LFS selling?

The first one is much bigger in size and I have seen them on sale, look very similar except the vast size difference.

    anyone any other opinion?

    Hi Choy,

Saw some Microrasbora nana at Fish & Fishes Aquarium ( formerly Ah Hock )Lor. Harlus yesterday.

And yes, the black marking is prominent on the dorsel fin.

    Cheers.

it is just greenish / yellow lor? have you seen the nana already? I've seen quite a few kubotai and they're not like the ones in the pic.

OK, I added a short video (right-click and save) see if any one recognise them, perhaps the way they swim? they're just the size of mosquito rasbora, about 1cm. You can compare it to the pentazona in the background.

4 for $10 maybe kind of high. [] how's the colour? better than those from biotope previously? I have seen the orange and the red form, referring to the two colourpatch on the caudal peduncle.
