haven't use Denerele before, but I suppose all the same.
You use tank water or tap water to fill the chamber?
hi, did anyone of you use the above before??...Bought one last night, and leave it overnight in the tank, this morning, the color still showing yellowish...according to the manual, this means that CO2 is too rich.
But i've switched off my CO2 supply leh...
wonder why...

it is supposed to be a PH indictor too.. yellowish means u water is acidic..
no wonder lah...was wondering why my PH was reading at 4.5, and KH = 0, when i do some testing last night.
so now...how do i increase the KH to 4??...i'm having a 4ft tank.
thanks
you can use bicarbonate of soda.
don't increase more thank 2dkh in 24hrs.

how many spoon of soda powder??
ohhh.. u got a Ph crash.. sorry, dun really know the amount to add, as I use KH up by aquamedia
you have to stop co2 injection first.
test your water of kh first.
add 1/2 teaspoon, dissolve with water first and distribute around tank.
check after 2 or 3 hrs.
add 1/2 teaspoon again if insufficient.
this way you should be able to find out the amount of soda to increase kh buy 1dkh.
keep adding at regular intervals until kh=4-6.
just no more than 2dkh in 24hrs.
when you kh stabilise at 4-6, you can inject co2 again.

I don't have any fishes in my tank now, only plants...
can i go all the way to increase the KH??
since no fishes, it's okay.
if you intend to keep fishes later, you should try to find the amount of soda required to increase 1dkh.
helps whenver you change water.

just add sodium bicarbonate which can be bought from supermarkets. one teaswpoon for me (heaped) gives about 4-5 kh jump, best if you increase your khgradually, tho i don't bother and nothing happens.
some fishes cannot handle the sudden increase of KH, 2 degree a day is a safety bet
i've got the Co2 indicator thing...*thumbs down* troublesome..
Cheers!
