Is the fish in your sig yours? Thats a pearl arowana (jardini) not a silver. A red one too... heard they are hard to find them for sale. Jardinis are Australian arowanas.

Below is a silver (image courtesy of www.arowana.net)

For arowana info, try the forums ArowanaClub.com and AroFanatics.com. Visit their links pages too. They are mainly about the asian arowana though. For specific info on the silvers and jardinis, search the web for arowanas. Also use the scientific names.

One last thing, that image is too big to use as a sig in AQ. Please reduce it so that it's about 100 pixels tall. Length around 300 to 400 pixels.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.

    Hi Vinz,

Thanks for the advise.... Nah... actually I got that pic from another website. Yup mine is a silver arowana. They seem to grow at a very fast rate. Big eaters too. Will check out those sites you had mentioned. Oh BTW, do you know of any lfs which sells RTG arowanas at a good price??? I am actually looking for arowanas at around 10cm. Cause their price at that size is not too high.

    Cheers

Lots of arowana shops popping up all over the place now.

I got mine from PetProvisions near Geylang. See their website for address www.petprovisions.com. Clementi Florist and Aquarium (blk 32 usually has juvenile fishes. Arowana Dynasty (opened by hobbyists), Imperial Palace and Imperial Dragon (or Dragon Palace, I forget) near and around (all within 5 mins walk of each other) Jackson Place Hawker Center (MacPherson Rd). I don't have their addresses. AroPacific on Yio Chu Kang Rd near Kovan usually has larger fishes, but you can call them to check.

Other then that, ask at AroFanatics and ArowanaClub.
