I have a Eheim Liberty 100 external hang filter, but I find the current too strong for a 1ft cube. what kind of lighting do you use for that?

    hi choy,
the lighting for the 1.5ft is normal 11W PL. FYI, the 1.5ft does not have any C02 addition for over 1 year.. so far the java moss and Microsorium pteropus "Windelov" seem to be growing quite well. []

    hi Kingfisher,
    which red plant u refering?..
if it is the tiger lotus and Rotala macrandra
, i got it from the forumer here. A big thanks to them.

    hi choy,
no much of algae problem but do have some green algae on the glass surface side.. well it's a algae-eating shrimp tank so algae not much a problem.. []

    hi Sleepy_lancs,

    Ph: 7.0 and kH: 2dH
as for NO3, P04 and FE, i dun have testkit for these..
FYI, i dun add any liquid fert, PO4, Fe for my 1.5ft.. both moss and Microsorium pteropus "Windelov" dun really need liquid fert.. as it's a shrimp tank and i dun feed any food so nitrate should not be a problem and i change 1/3 of water twice a week to maintain hope it helps.. cheers
