conditions for puffer fish

hi recently decom one of my tanks. am interested in keeping those dwarf puffer fish. Does anybody know the best parameters for this kind of fishes?

The diet of the Puffer should include a variety of meaty food including squid, krill, clams, and hard shelled shrimp to help wear down their ever growing teeth.

squid? clams? that sounds like food for a seawater puffer.

Dwarf puffers are fresh water fish that are like 1 inch only. The key to feeding them are live foods and snails. For more info, pls see the below link:

... dwarf puffers can eat normal food as they beaks dun grow much like their bigger cousins. i kept a group of them for 2 years and they are still eating well on bloodworms , tubi

Dwarf puffers, can survive well in a wide range of conditions. They feed on snails, tubi and also bloodworms. As far as i know, there arent any specific conditions needed for them, just ensure that the parameters of the water are in the healthy range will do. Breeding them would be quite difficult though....

I have seen people actually feeding them flakes food, am not sure how to do it but you can go research online, though usually they only accept live foods.

almost all fishes have to starve them !

Which dwarf puffer? South americans need to have their teeth manually trimmed.

The link shows a south american dwarf puffer that must be fed a staple diet of snails daily, better still, be ready to trim their teeth. Do your research before you do this.
