Nice set up bro. But I dont think puffer would be a good idea to be with other fishes as they are notorious for nipping fins.
If you have some snail issues, I'd suggest assassin snails or removing them manually or the lettuce bait.

Thanks for the advice, bro. The puffer is actually the main fish here. I understand about the fin nipper thing, but so far from what I read among DP owners in DP forums, it really depends on individuals. And if they're well fed, they should be fine.
But of course, if there's sign of aggression, will separate them.

Haha, why not do both if space is not an issue. I've used the Shiruba XB-303 for more than 2 mths & it was better than what i expected for its price. Its a Taiwan brand & made in Taiwan, its well made, easy to prime & very quiet. Many times i have to put my hand on it to check if it is running. But yeah, i've upgraded to eheim 2213 to increase filtration for my DPs, since they're messy eaters. The 2213 has audible humming unlike the XB-303.

Haha space for canister is no problem but for tank is a problem ^^ now the most can get is that 40x25x28 tank in my room. Think very likely will go for eheim canister =) but plan to get the new tank will be on hold till after CNY I guess... Want to get my CRS tank ready to show off during CNY ^^
