    Hello to all,

    I have this fish for quite awhile and only know the chinese name from LFS. Can brothers advise what is the scientic name or common name in English that everybody can relates to??

    I want to post it in the trade section as it is getting too big for my 3ft tank.

    According to AF forum, it is call Majestic Shelter, also known as Rocket locally. Actual name Distichodus Sexfasciatus.

    If it is Distichodus sexfasciatus, it is a characin aka "tetra" not a catfish.

    This particular fish gets huge, but it is beautiful when fully grown. There's a similar looking species called Distichodus lusosso.

    Yes, mine is already more than 12" in length. I kept it in a 3ft tank with a IT but so far it don't bite the IT as claimed but will like to chase it around when there is food. It will grow to 18" at least.
