    I have a 35cm (length) x 20cm (breadth) x 23cm (depth) planted tank, with a Gex HOF (size M).

I currently have 5 golden tetras (2cm) and 4 ottos (3cm). Im thinking of adding 8 cherry shrimps.

Will my bioload be too high?

*apologies if i'm on the wrong thread...

Bio load would be high and the fishes wouldn't have space to roam.

its quite common cause smaller tank are hard to maintain. Fluctuation happen and react faster then bigger tank. But that does not mean you cant try it and see. slowly add livestock and not all at once and make sure properly cycled too.

actually i long suspected that 4 otos are too much for a small tank. they were just so cute and i didnt think much when i bought 4.
