    Hi guys,

I have been using a led light for my 1.5 feet tank since I set it up 2 months ago. My tank is doing really well and the plants are growing like mad.

But now im beginning to suspect that led was a bad choice, it seems like some of my plants are getting long and stemmy etc.

I have a pic of my light here, but I can't tell what the wattage or brand is, box has been thrashed.

and also a pic of the plants that was supposed to grow bushy but has become stemmy instead.

    Any advise?

Im also setting up a new 1.5f tank, what sort of lights shoud i get?

Is your LED 45 cm Up-Pro
I bought 1 to try and yes my glosso grew very fast and became long thin stem and finally uproot it self .

I did a calculation based on 70 led white + blue
turn up to be less than 90000 MCD, between 3.5 - 4W , depending on angle, less than 150 lm

Imo, still not good enough for me .. considering to upgrade after i start my tank if it doesnt work ..

I'm so blur I dont even know what my led model is. I only know there are 33 bulbs, with some blue ones.

Anyway I have decided not to take the risk of my tank not reaching it's fullest potential.

I'm thinking of getting a light fixture with either 2x6w T5 or 2x8w T5. What do you think?
