My shrimp tank is infested with snails and siphoning them out during water changes is getting on my nerves. Thinking of putting puffers.

Will puffers take my shrimps along with them snails?
    Regards.

it's not a good idea to put a puffers in your tank as the puffer might nip your shrimps... maybe u can put a Loaches in your tank...

Well, it's just a matter of time when your puffer will start nipping on the fins of your other fish.

But don't worry, if your puffer is still behaving nicely, you can leave it in for the time being.

Just monitor, once your tank is free from snails, check constantly on your fish like corydoras or tetras. Once you notice that the fins are torn or broken, it's sign that the puffers are attacking them. Don't worry as the puffers won't be that ferocious enough to kill them. Remove it and the broken fins of your fish will heal in no time.
