why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

Hi,
I got my supply at Eco-culture, not dirt cheap but decent price. You can find good shrimp supply at Lake aquarium at Ginza Plaza.
Currently have 30+ cherry shrimps, 10 blue shrimps, 5 mosquito shrimps, 5 green shrimps in my shrimp tank.
Cheers

Apparently blue and green shrimp are a real species, not just Malayan shrimps like what some LFS owners would have you believe. My blue shrimp from Ecoculture looks just like the website's.

don't get excited yet, people know very little about these shrimps except that they're probably all in the Neocaridina genus. The key is to see if they interbreed with others, such as malayan or tiger.----------------

think the LFS calls this zebra shrimp… I don't see why but they're nice… I think the catchlight on the eggs are nice.

how's the survival rate of blue shrimp? as hardy as tigers or as fragile as bumblebee?
