    Hi all,
    Initially I was contemplating between a 2211
Or a 2213 as my concern was flow rate. I thought
2213 would be too powerful for 60cmx30x40 tank.

Made my decision and got the 2213. First time switch on,
The sound of the motor rumbling and swooshing of water
Made me feel that the filter is doing its job.

Then, the canister became so silent. The rain at jets of
Water has current. So silent and mild until I think is this filter
    Sufficient?
I rescape my Amazonia soil and it takes 24hrs to see the inside of the
    Tank. So slow meh?

Anyone with similiar experiences? If I get a2215 can I use back the
Same setup as its really tough to do all the tubes again.

As for lights I'm using aquazonIC t5 x2. I'm growing hc, do I need 4 tubes?

    Thanks

It uses the same size hose as stated in the Eheim Trade catalogue.

    Hi,

Light wattage will depend on plants, some will need higher wattage and many bros will highly recommend enriching water with co2.
It will be wise to dig further on what plants will require more lighting.
Right now I'm using same as you, for my 2 feet. Not fantastic growth but slow and steady.

Appreciate the replies. Especially Felix who has been ever present
To provide me with advices. Im on co2 now with 3bps. I'll stick with
The lights. As for the 2213, I'll observe and see whether is there a need
To upgrade to a 2215. Anyone keen to buy my 4 day old 2213. Pm me
The price and we can transact if the price is right. Gong xi FA cai

I use a 2215 for my standard 2ft tank and I feel it's just nice for me. Then again, my tank is heavily planted.

No probem, i am doing what BFG signature is doing. Passing on what i learn and what i experienced.
As a hobbyist, you also need to know to take information with a pinch of salt.

"what works well for him, may not work so well for me"

O.T: the HC grows so super slow.. pretty annoying eh . it's glosso mix HC tank and glosso started to crawl and HC only barely rooting... alas me and my no patience

Silence does not means slow. could it be the rainbar underwater then no sound? The filter chuck and chun when you first on it because there is air inside. Once the air release, only water no sound.
The check if the flowrate is slow, you can gauge by the water flow in your tank. maybe lift your rainbar out of the water. then you can see how far the water shoot? I not sure about weak but 2213 should be enough. I used 2213 with chiller on my 2ft tank for CRS. not heavily planted.

Your 2213 new or second hand?
    still learning the hard way!!
