    Hi everyone,

Would like to know whats the different between these 2 types of stones?

My knowledge is that Seiryu stones do alter water PH & GH and Kurokinryu does not affect anything.

I went to a LFS and saw stones greyish in colour, some with white strips on them , i wonder what are those, im thinking of getting Kurokinryu rock since they dont alter anything.

    Thanks

Sadly, stones are often misnamed or unnamed at LSFs. A picture would help in identifying what you are actually looking at.
Took me a long time to find that I actually had something called "Yamaya" stones from ADA when all along I thought I had Kurokinryu. It wasn't until I ordered more Kurokinryu rocks and saw the difference that I realize the error.

I see bro, but my concern is only does the stone alter water perimeter? The one i saw looks nice with white strips doesnt matter the name, just wanted to make sure the one i saw does not affect water ph & gh
