    Hi all,
Nutrients in a soil diffinitely have a lifespan. It will deplete
With time as the plants we plant consume it.
So...... What happens say 1 year 2 years? Do we rescape our
    Tanks with new soil?

Just something that bugged me. Cheers.

    Hi,

The compressed grain also will "melt" in due time.
The nutrient after sometime we tend to buy things like "Root monster" to supplement the dropping value of nutrient inside the soil.
Naturally, there are several other types like 7 Balls (JBL)... ect ..... up to the consumer to choose and try. (Root monster is around $18 FYI)

This is a reference where you can see "Root monster"(of course not necessary to so "kiasu" to buy now. )

ADA's solution is to inject the substrate with Bottom Release tool or something like that.

Aquasoil lasts quite long imho as long as you don't mess it up every other month or so.
