I am planting Taiwan Moss as a foreground plant. I am turning the lighting and CO2 cycle from 8 pm to 8 am. Will this affect the growing rate or stunt the growth of the plants by changing the cycle from day to night? Will appreciate all Bros contribution.

    Is 10hours the magic number? i.e. 12hr photo-period = algae while 10hour photo-period = just okay?

Plant does not photosynthesis 24 hrs, it also need to rest. According to Amano 10hrs is roughly the max for photo period afterthat it will stop eventhough the light still on.

Any source, or in fact, further reading material on this specific topic? & is this supported" by other renowned aquatic florists' results?

Good to see someone still care about the fact

You can read from ADA Aquajournal online, it will tell you how the 10hrs come across and how to observe it on the plants.

I do not know as whether other scientist prove the claim or not, I do not access to science journal.

They do? too bad then. Anyway this is what they observe in plant (if I remember correctly), most notable in some stem plant species. After roughly 10 hours of continuous photosynthesis the leaf start to close even though the light is still on. You can try it yourself, just remember to select plant that close its leaf when they are not photosynthesis.

Bro I did the same timing as you before, as I only have the chance to view my plant at night after day work, mo problem, result is acceptable and there is a saying that co2 Desenity is better during the night, from what see I have better control with the temp during the day
