Depends on how much shrimp porn you show them? Hahaha
Honestly, I believe that there is no fixed time frame. They will start to breed when the conditions are right.

Usually if shrimp happy they will breed if they don't breed means your water not very good or maybe you are unlucky you only have females XD
They seems to be happy i guess? They eat readily and happily. Maybe i should give them some time
Hi bros my RCS are about 2 weeks since i got them from LFS. Anyways i just got home and saw one got berried! WHOOPIE!
After 2 mths none of my sakura is berried too....I suspect they are under-aged and also insufficient males
I think it's quite hard to find a male in LFS. They usually sell all female. I don't even know which of mine is male
True, true. Last week I happened to be at C328 when new stock just arrived. Timing couldn't be better, happy like ..... As auntie was busy scribbling the prices on the bags, I was busy inspecting them. However, until car park coupon expired I couldn't find a bag with a decent male inside. Either all are very nice, red females, or mix of brownish, ugly looking don't know male or female or transvertites.
Eventually left with only a bag of nice red to add on to my nun monastery.
haha nun monastery. good luck bro
Mature size and when you see a saddle on the back...meaning the female is ready and male prepare to dance...
I think maybe the best way is, try to get some berried shrimp from LFS and hopefully u manage to spawn out a male shrimp. I have too many female RCS need to release some!
One of the shrimps I bought last week spawned shortly after arrival. Hopefuly a male Jedi will be introduced in this spinster tank eventually. May the force be with me !
As with all other species, a berried shrimp will have eggs of both males & females. However, in some cases, if the berried shrimp drops some eggs or some "duds" (my term for infertile eggs) are evident, then there may be chances that the shrimplets be of pure males or females, which is quite rare.
