i Dont really understand my danios..bought them as a bulk package at 20 piece for 3 dollars and today when i look at them swimming in a group in my tank,i saw one bigger sized danios trying to bite off a smaller danios's tail..anyone can explain this scene???
Danios will nip each other on the fins, especially the tail. I think it occurs more in cramped conditions since they will constantly chase each other. You should start to worry if the water conditions are not up to par, and fin rot starts to take root in the affected fishes.
How big is this tank, and how many fish is in there?

is your tank overcrowded? never had this problem with my 6-7 danios
