    Hi all,

I've just planted few meshes of moss on the bed of a new tank. Is it advisable to put in some 30+ cardinals at this moment? Will they nibble on the moss?

Thanks in advance for all advice!

Cardinals will pretty much ignore the moss. If you're still worried, then make sure you feed them enough that they don't need to turn vegetarian.

maybe you can wait for a while longer as your tank is still quite new. maybe should cycle it for a while first before adding in the cardinal tetra.

Better to leave the moss in tank without the fishes for a while. The moss tends to be very dirty if bought from farms. Those chicken dung carry some disease into the tank, causing your fishes to be sick. I had a bad experience once with newly puchased moss from farms.
