Should be easy. Grows fast too.
If you have no trouble with MM, then you should have no trouble with this.
Was at Capricorn aquarium and saw this plant. At $1 for a bunch about 10 cm tall, couldn't resist so bought two.
When I tried to check up on it in the internet, and in Kesslemann's book, I find conflicting information. Some sites (including AQ) says that this plant is easy with low light requirements. Others (including Kesselmann) says this plant is delicate and hard to grow.
Which is correct? Has anybody in the forum grown this plant before? Any special requirements, other than the fact that the stems should be planted separately to prevent rotting?
Thanks.

good, just redid my tanks with both MM & Didiplis diandra so guess they'll live or die together
It has been suggested on another forum (aquabotanic) that Didiplis diandra might be reliant on trace elements in order to thrive.
thanks locus.
just wondering, has either of you tried growing the plant and does it do well in S'pore's hot climate? A thoughht crossed my mind. When I took the plants out of the concrete tanks, the water in there was very cold, even though it was noon time (probably because of the concrete) but does this mean that cold temp is a must?
