Maybe due to overdosing of Fe, some hair algae started to grow on hairgrass. I was surprised to see one of my angelfish pulling those hair like algae from the hairgrass and munch happily.

    Anyone has such experience?

    Thanks.

    Hi

I am not too sure if your angelfish is happily munching on the algae or is that it is too hungry.

I also had one experience on my platy. They actually peak on the snails on my tank wall. Of course, they never eat or kill it. I don't really mind since they makes my tank wall free of snails.

Now, my platy stop doing it after they realized that the food i gave them taste much much better.

    Thks.

They should have enough to eat. I feed them 3 times a day with flakes, blood worms and sometimes bits. Anyway, they seem to stop this habbit. I think, like you said, they find fish food taste better
