chansl, It's pretty easy to spot a berried cardinal. If they are berried, you can see from top down, the belly should show a bulge and it is quite obvious. If they are heavily berried, you can easily tell from the side view just like any other shrimps.

Sorry for the quick and simplified reply, rushing for time but thought I should just reply before I forget.

Don't worry, they'll come back! I already have saddles on both my female spinatas! Problem. I only have two spinatas >< But you get what I mean ^^

Bro, which Spinata do you need? If I have it, you can get a couple of rapists over.

I have personally tried Benibachi Breeding liquid (under dose) on them. Same reaction and none died from this little dancing. I am not sure if it aids in the breeding though, as the dancing may not prove anything and it's only reaction to the liquid.

Hmm if they have similar reaction means should be safe! And yep, the dancing may not result in breeding, although definitely it might trigger it if they are both in the mood. Haha thanks bro, but will take things slow. My main aim is for the Harlequins to breed, the other shrimp are just to see their reaction, so no hurry there. I chose the two spinatas mainly for this reason too, its the "yellow cheek" variety I think, and when you turn off the lights for half an hour and turn if back on they are blue, so its very easy to see whether they are saddled. Also, they aren't at all shy.
