I just checked the ph again.. It's 5+
Last "bang" before they die?
Can they really live in that kind of water condition? Oh my god!
i just changed from black quartz to ADA amazonia about an hour ago for this nano tank of mine. because the ph level really unstable.
1 hour later, i found my CPO having some fun
new water, new substrate, old filter. time for tank cycle was 30 mins. HAHAHA!

No,they cannot live in such low Ph .. They will die on you. You can go back to your old substrate or use another "non-active" substrate.
I use Seachem Flourite and Ph in their tank is 7.2 - 7.4 Lots of babies. They also like medium hard to hard water.
I am not that sure that they can't live in that kind of water, my cambarellus texanus are in a tank with amazonia 2 (i don't have parameters because i think this is useless if you have a good preparation for the tank) and they are fine, but be carreful about the gh.
shifting them into a satellite breeder box on my main tank, ph around 7.
hope i see eggs on the female soon.. then hopefully some CPO babies
