Wow, where did you get it? I've been looking around for awhile.

Marselia hirsuta also known as Marselia quadrifolia. Here's some of my bookmarked links about it:

    Erik Leung's site

From what I gather, it's a low demand, slow growth plant like Marsilea crenata, java ferns and anubias.

    Plant

Hey, it also prosper in shades. Considering this, it is much better glossos.

    From Oriental book,
    PH: 5.5-6.5
    Temp: 22-28
Leaves can be up to 70 cm long

From the pics I've seen, the emersed and submersed forms are totally different.

    Emersed:
    - tall
    - 4 leaved clover

    Submersed:
    - short
    - single leaf

I'm not sure how the transformation process is like after you put it in water. Maybe it'll lose the tall stalk and start spreading like glosso. I know that's roughly what happens to marsilea crenata. Hirsuta seems to be a bigger version of crenata.

This JAPANESE SITE has some pics of the emersed growth. Look the same as yours?
