Low tech low profile advise !

Hi guys, I'm currently cycling a 40cm x 25 x 18cm tank. Soil used was GEX green 3.3kg, planning on growing jap hair grass was wondering the light set which I'm using,Kenis 13w pl be sufficient? Or any good intro for a 40cm light set. Planning on going low tech , is this possible? Please advise!

Wow, love the rocks. IMO its not enough for a planted tank. Most common for tanks your size is to go for t5 lightsets from aquazonic or maybe odyssea. Recommend you take a trip down to Seaview, they have a wide selection.

T5 would be Ideal. Get those Aquazonic 40CM T5 Super bright brand. 1 lighttube on should suffice.

I was there just last weekend and I saw the 40cm light tubes. If you have budget, you might want to consider the LED lights.
