Hillstream loaches remain small and quite hardy.
Hi,
I'm helping my gf set up a small pond (3x3ft). The pond is outdoors and temp might be high in the afternoon though it's shaded. Plants in there are so far only bacopas, water lettuce and a few lotus.
Need your help to recommend a hardy algae eater that can survive in the above environment. Prefer something that won't grow too big and give off a lot of waste. Also would be good if it's not too predatory as there are guppies in the pond.
Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion.
How about any other fish or shrimp recommendations? I'm not really interested in the usual goldfish or koi as I'll be adding some more plants as well. Would like some colourful little fish to mix with my fancy guppies.
platy, guppy for keeping mosquito at bay, don't really really algae eater
Ummm... Otocinculus? They are pretty hardy.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
