    Hi,

    I'm helping my gf set up a small pond (3x3ft). The pond is outdoors and temp might be high in the afternoon though it's shaded. Plants in there are so far only bacopas, water lettuce and a few lotus.

    Need your help to recommend a hardy algae eater that can survive in the above environment. Prefer something that won't grow too big and give off a lot of waste. Also would be good if it's not too predatory as there are guppies in the pond.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

    How about any other fish or shrimp recommendations? I'm not really interested in the usual goldfish or koi as I'll be adding some more plants as well. Would like some colourful little fish to mix with my fancy guppies.

    get a pair and they will spawn like crazy...
    they makan algae too... especially hair algae... but not brown/green spot algae though (or do they? me got no such algae so not sure... paiseh...)
