Thanks to all bros for sharing.
I will give the fishes a good diet feeding of 1-2 times a day.
Will monitor over the next few months and observe their growth.
Will also update here subsequently.
Thanks for the excellent pointers above.
You are very right about the rocks stability. I place some heavier rocks (hidden, not seen) as my base and build up from there. But on hindsight, I should have place them before I pour in the fine sand.
I am pretty sure they will start digging very soon.
Too many fishes making the decorations insignificant is also a very good pointer as I didn't thought of that.

ever thought of selling off some of your fish when they get too big?
rather than trying to control their growth rate, treat them well and you'll be rewarded with robust and healthy fish.
Cheers,
Melvin Lim
I think quite difficult to sell them cos' the common Malawi are quite cheap.
I also prefer to give to someone who will take good care of them.
My previous batch I give to a bro who has a 6 footer, which means more swimming space for them.
I agree with you, treat them well. We are their master, they have no one else who will take care of them.
You are playing God in fact! =D
So would you one day be having a size like this?
Ha Ha...start getting poisoned and start dreaming. ^^Y
Wah bro! U open fish shop wan ha!
My wife will kill me if I attempt to do that.
LIFE IS UNBEARABLE WITHOUT A FISH TANK!!!
Bro, can share what sexy fishes are you into?
Only Cory Sterbais. I don't like other Corys as they are not as full-bodied as Sterbais. Many Cory breeds are long and slim and so do not resemble 'sea hamsters'. I keep them in a bare-bottom tank (no gravel) becasue I don't want to injure their fragile bristles. I simply cannot bear seeing them working roughly in the sand with those flimsy bristles. And they can be very rough when they are thinking of tubifex worms.
I was also into Luohan and Goldfish. Now I am also into Bettas and hopefully some nice Plecos (tiny 'fighter planes'). Oh, not forgetting Platys too.
