    Hi,

I used to keep xmas moss for my entire 2ft tank. I cut out the entire base of a plastic basket, secured with weights to make it sink, laid moss over it and wrapped it up with a 'large holed' laundry bag (new ones of course). Over time, the entire base was covered with moss. Looked really splendid. Unfortunately, after a year or so, algae took place and gave up moss after that. Singaporeans have no time when u r in the army.

Go to Nature Aquarium (see LFS list for address). Chan has a number of tanks with moss foregrounds.

He uses mesh to secure the moss, lay them flat on the gravel and just let them grow over months and months.

Another method is use large pebbles or rocks instead of mesh. This will create the mossy rocks look that you see in pictures of mountain streams. I prefer this look to the flat sea of moss. Allowing a small plant like hair grass and tenellus to grow between the rocks can acheive quite a nice natural look.

Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

    Re:

Wow! Times are bad and even mosses need to rally much and hope to be elected to the foreground.. Wonder who's the opposition? Did they get their campaign fund legitimately ? Did they promise a monthly allowance to those that vote for them ?

    Sorry, cant resist ..!
