Bro, mind to share what plants are you using???
Made a trip to Seaview and saw this 40x25x18 cm low profile tank. Immediately was stuck with an urge to make a Wabi-kusa tank.
Here Goes:
Rock Placement
Hardscape from top
Filling with sand
Flora
Somehow the LED is too bright to take a proper picture, blinding away my emersed plants. Will try and take a proper one tomorrow.
First try on a wabi-kusa. Any comments are welcomed!!

Very nice bro... 1 question, no filter??
To be a RocK & not to RoLL..
To be a Rock & not to Roll..
I observe those shown by James-Bon has more land than those by Jovel, so any one can quickly define what is Wabi-Kusa? Looks interesting as it is like vivarium?
Actually, to quote "http://www.aquascapingworld.com": "Wabi-Kusa is a product made by Aqua Design Amano. It is essentially a ball covered by aquatic plants grown in their terrestrial form, very similar to hydroponics used commonly in plant nurseries... The name Wabi-Kusa is a reference to the Japanese aesthetic sense of Wabi-Sabi that appeals to the beauty in the slight chaos of nature. Kusa means weeds or plants. Even in his earliest books Amano-san referred to finding beauty in a patch of weeds, and this beauty has been turned into product. While it is unlikely that anyone will be topping the contests with these types of layouts, I have to say they do have a strong appeal and a refreshing free-spiritedness."
My believe is not to get too caught up in the naming or categorization of different styles of scaping, sometimes many different forms will get incorporated into a final product you might find satisfying.
Some updates, did a bit of rescaping to include a mini sponge filter in the corner.
Enjoy!
Love it!One bit of advice: Hide the plastic part to make it look natural. Anyway where do you get your plants from? Any recommendations to get cheap and healthy plants?
