During photosynthesis, the plants make food and store in them. While in respiration, it will make used of the food stored to repair and grow.

If the plants do not have food to grow or repair, it will eventually wither and die.

Have you ever planted any fast growing plants before?? Observe the height of the plant before the lights is out. In the morning, you will realise how much they have grown taller!!

    Hope this helps.

    thanks Albert,

ya it does grow much faster, actually i think i should adjust my lighting to 10 hrs, since b4 that it is like 13 to 14 hrs, so they have more time to grow and repair hahaa, too much store food in them i guess, thanks a trillion

    Happy new year
