    Try yamato shrimps. I think SAE will work too.

    Rule out Otos though for hair algae.

    I have seen the dwarf pencilfish Nannostomus marginatus cleaning out those fine green hair algae.
    why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

    cherry barbs, 3 lined pencil also... the most effective is manually removing by hand

    I guess the wild pencils eat algae. Even my coral red pencil 'pecked' on my driftwood.
