Yup... your pleco is the prime suspect. Many species of plecos will much on plants... especially large-leafed ones like Echinodorus...
The holes left by plecos are usually streaky in shape rather than round holes.

My Enchinodorus leaves keep getting eaten by something . I know it is not due to nutrient deficiency because I just put in a new plant yesterday and the this morning there are holes on the leaves
I suspect the culprit is pleco but have not seen it eating. I have another tank with another species of Pleco but no holes on the Echinodorus there.
Other residents in my tank are 1 SAE, 5 Malayan, 5 Yamato shrimps, 10 Black Tetra and 5 Panda Cory.
Any suggestion as to which fish is the culprit ?

Thanks for confirming my suspicion.I will try to remove the fella tonight.
Looks like only certain species have a liking for plant/fruit. This fella finished up the cucumber I put in within a day while the cheap pleco I have in another tank which does not munch on plant only finished a quarter !
