My first shooting trip with 300D at the Underwater World, Sentosa. Took loads of pictures but all turn out lousy. Some wrong settings and ended with grainy shots. Anyway, here are the pictures :

lorba, not bad considering you're new to the camera. I like pic 3 for the placement and composition, although noise is bit high assuming you used high ISO?

you can also click on the image to produce the high-res one, by surrounding the [ IMG ] tag with the [ URL ] tag.

used iso 800 and 1600 for most of the shots. high resolution will take too long to load up leh.

why? I shoot up to 100 RAW shots on the 512MB card and downloading and processing doesn't take more than 30 minutes. I have a regular 2.4GHz P4 with 512MB RAM. I generate max quality JPEG from my RAW.

you need to do these even if you don't do RAW right?

mmm… just processed 25 G5 RAW to max quality JPEG, took only 4 minutes.

now the biggest effort is to review and find the keepers, then the PS processing

Is that an IR function used on your DSLR? They look so different from the conventional IR.

I save my RAW plus the processed PSD (what the heck, disk is cheap). The JPEG are generated for review and to help me decide on cropping size I'm using Irfanview for to review the RAW file but it thinks the RAW are only 640×480 so I can't see enough details.
