    Hi guys,
how do you tell if your planted tank is calcium deficient. One of my plants have leaves that are twisted. The guy from ec0-culture told me it's calcium deficiency. If this is true, how can I solve it? Is there any supplement I can use? Does the micro in the Dr. Malek series contain calcium? Thanks!

If it is indeed calcium deficiency, then you can add coral chips. Stop dosing Magnesium since coral chip contains magnesium and perhaps you should stop dosing K or maintain K at 10ppm. Some others use CaCO3 tablet from pharmacy. Bear in mind that coral chips do have KH buffering capability so if you are using KH buffer, you might want to stop it.

The Lushgro-Aqua has Mg but no Ca.
The Lushgro-Micros has no Ca or Mg.
As Sleepy_lancs posted, a little coral chips can help.

    Hi

You might want to consider add calcium nitrate. Checkout this link
