nice , this is the new sp. timika ?
After keeping my pseudomugil red neon for several months, i finally see a fry After postponing plans to breed them for many months, i guess the fish got impatient and spawned by themselves in the 2ft tank that i placed them in.
Unfortunately, since i wasnt expecting eggs, i didnt check the tank very often, and i guess most of the fry must have been eaten by the parents or by the peacock gudgeons.
Fortunately i salvaged one, and now it is living happily with my yellow shrimps, probably snacking on all my shrimplets.
Pic of the lone survivor (sorry for the extremely lousy pics, they were taken with my hp camera)
Pic of the adults:
A pic of the male taken months ago when he was much smaller
nice,,, i see so many time no dare to buy cos of price
Congratulations Lucas. I should have kept some when I had the chance but I didn't. I think Emokidz was trying to breed his as well.
Fish.. Simply Irresistable
Back to Killies... slowly.
I'm not sure but I think he should have a successful spawning by now. Given that these are Pseudomugil after all, the fry would be real tiny. I saw Ps. ivantsoffi fry from RonWill a few weeks ago. They were so small and if you didn't notice the shiny blue eyes they would look like some sort of insect larvae.

Nice! Sadly he's the only survivor.
