Not too sure about that what a RO/DI system might be better if you want complete pure the water after pasting thru should
TDS almost zero.
IS THIS A RECOMMENDED ITEM FOR SHRIMP TANK ??

The RD Deioniser w/ Kent Marine Hi-S DI Cartridge is a 3 stage 200 gallon per day deionisation unit that will provide the purest water possible without any rejection of water. This unit will remove over 99.9% of tap water contaminants. It includes 1 carbon pre-filter, and 2 Kent Marine Hi-S DI Cartridge. The Kent Marine Hi-S DI Cartridge is a High Silicate Removal Deionization Cartridge with built in Exhaution Indicator (colour changing resin).
The RD Deioniser w/ Kent Marine Hi-S DI Cartridge (Deluxe) unit is the same as RD Deioniser w/ Kent Marine Hi-S DI Cartridge (Basic) unit, except that the former includes an in-line dual TDS meter.
