Hair grass, Lobelia cardinalis, moss and some Hygrophila species are quite suitable. It all depends on what fishes or layout you desire.

It will be good if you find out more about the requirements of the various plants, which there are a few online databases.

    Happy planting.

what kind of set up are you looking at? Low or high maintenance?

For higher maintenance, invest in your lights, fert and co2 and you can keep plants like riccia, glosso etc. A Java fern clumps smack in the center with glosso as ground cover will look nice as well.

For low maintenance, you just require minimum lights for plants like java ferns, anubias sp, moss etc.

Plants may be simple and common. But with a good scaping plan, all will turn out nice.

Thanks for all your replies, am using a DIY CO2 setup and am keeping cardinal tetras and rummy noses.

Was trying to attach a picture, guess function is not available yet.
