and how do you intend to dose sulfur?
there are no sulphate test kits you know.. (neither are there any so3 test kits..) (maybe marine section might have).
its presumed they get sulfur from fish food anyway..

Hi,
I have done up my dosing regime of Calcium Sulphate, Potassium Sulphate, and Mg Sulphate. All these contributed a significant amount of S into the water.
Btw, should I take SO4 or S for the calculation. Please advise!!
Thanks
Regards
Albert
Should only consider the "S" part of the SO4 since you are referring to sulphur and not sulphates.
From Dr Mallick's article (more likely for land plants) at http://www.singaporehydroponics.com/...itionTable.doc he did not mention toxicity with excess Sulphur.
I do not know if excess levels of "S" will cause any problems in aquatic plants. Why don't you monitor first? If there are, then you might want to consider using Calcium Nitrate and Potassium Nitrate for your Ca and K source.
