    Hi,

I have about 12 goldfish in my 3 feet tank. I noticed my goldfish was bleeding and I took out my sucker fish (not pecos, but small slim ones), and the goldfish are healing well.

But now, without those 4 sucker fish, my tank has more residue, and it's dirtier, cloudier.

    My tank has gravel.

    Please advise.

Can try the bigger Ramshorn snails. I have such a non-planted tank with goldfish and snails are helping to keep the algae under control.

You can also try Otos. They are more peaceful generally. Hopefully they don't end up inside the goldfish.

12 goldfish in a 3 ft seems overcrowded to me.... it may not look so, but goldfish produce huge amounts of poop and your filter is probably undercapacity.... have you also considered getting some plants to act as biological filters? There was a thread here or in the fertilisation forum on plants for goldfish tanks.... please search for it.

12 goldfishes in a 3' is quite crowded.
remove the gravel unless you have some specific use for it. gravel will trap a lot of poo and even if you have a powerful filter, not all poo will be removed.
if clear water and clean look is what you desire, go for bare bottom.

or use undergravel filter with large size pebble so the poo will fall through and get sucked.

previous i had 4 otas in the fish tank, and after a while, they began to suck on my goldfish,

remove 4 of them, and noticed the water is so dirty...........

now put one of them with the goldfish and the tank is clean again, i think one fish tank need one only

my fish tank is the 3 feet one
