what are the best food for betta??

hi bros n sis, may i know what you all noramally feed your betta with?? live foods or pallets.. isnt true that when you feed them with live food , they will get sick easily? feed them eat how many times per day?? as for me i feed them two times.. but they seem like very hungry..eat non stop like a goldfish...so i feed abit more again

Feed twice a day. Pellets.. Usually the amount to twice the size of its eyes. Sometimes i give it frozen bloodworm. Abt 3 worms.. Sometimes i also feed it with my cherry shrimp culls from my other communal tank

The best food in my honest opinion is still live tubifex worms.

Find the most expensive betta food (pellet or flakes) at the lfs. That should be the best You can also feed frozen blood worm.

My Betta usually gets the big worms I can find find among the Tubifex, those which are about 1-inch long, fat, thick and juicy. But it's not commonly found, though.

i use to feed them brineshrimp. but expensive, one pack $1.50 and only feed for a few days, but really good if u want to condition them for breeding or beefing up
as for how many to feed, feed as much as it can eat in 3-4 minutes
