You can try the Milwalkee brand. Is around 80 bucks.
BTW, My Yamato seems fine with pH 6.6 and kH of 4.
You can try to aerate your tank at the night with air stone pump if you find there is and excess of CO2.
my riccia pearl and is growing very well.
Now had algae problem so bought some yamato.
I got a qns.
Wat is the best PH and KH for riccia to pearl while yamato can swim in the tank happily?
I tried to adjust PH KH CO2 always either
1) too much CO2 level - yamato swim to surface to breath
2) adjust ph or kh resulting CO2 too low - riccia cannot pearl
any expert recommendation?
BTW is there a good PH tester in the market?
tetra brand cannot measure 6.1 6.2 6.3 6.4
sera brand can but not accurate according to forumer

Hi
You can actually check the KH/PH/CO2 relationship. There is no so call best KH/PH relatonship. It actually depends on your bioload.
Eg shrimps and tetra needs lower PH so your KH should be lower, maybe 2 or 3.
About the PH tester.
You can try the PH test pen at C328.
Can't rem. the brand.
From Italty and cost around $40-50.
I am using it, so far, not bad.
cos using tetra PH tester I get only rough reading either 6.0 or 6.5 or 7
last reading 6 dunno if it is good for the shrimp or not
Hi
What about your KH value?
Can share with us.
Did you manage to find the PH/KH/CO2 chart or calculator?
KH is 3.5
I calculated already if my PH is abt 6.5 my KH 3.5 is still alright abt 28ppm. But if my PH is 6.4 which my tetra PH tester does not show tat value my shrimp will be in very busy fighting for O2
