    Hi Bro and Sis,

    Could someone help me identify this weird stuff on my narrow leaf java fern? Looks like algae to me though.



    If it is not a good stuff there are there ways to remove it?

    BBA occurs when your lighting is strong, i.e. more watts/gallons, have longer photo periods and no constant C02 level present in water.
    Increase your CO2 injection, i.e. bubbles per second or inject excel directly at the algae.
    You can also do blackout for a few days or reduce photo periods.
    For me I use the "increase bubbles per second" and reduce photo period.
