    like to know which biofilter is ideal for planted tank? OHF or internal or any other? Why?
    can provide me a pic as reference so I know how it look like

    Canistor filter will be the best choice.

    But if your tank is small, less than 2ft, then you have to use internal filter.

    Overhead filter is out.
    There are a number of disadvantages.
    1) Too much water movement.
    This will affect plant growth. In addition, the CO2 injected will be
    diissipated away at a faster rate.

    2) May not have sufficient space for other assessories like lights, fan.........

    If its a small tank or with low bioload, try eden internal filter. quiet and cheap. If you have a heavy bioload, try an external canister (not trickling)filter.

    IMHO, OHF will not be good for planted tank, due to major lost of co2.

    ic get it anyway is mean for my 2 ft tank. So got to change my filter soon... Cos decide to change to planted tank very soon.

    Eden 316 would be just nice if you are not having a heavy bioload. Save electricity too
