    Hi All...
    After reading & thinking of hot to lower the temp in tank.
    Finally find this post quite good, but i had read that copper will harm shrimp; perhaps can change the copper to plastic tubing.

    I had never try this so far... thinking of give it a try, i need more time for planning....

    Anyone had try do share please...

    I think some shrimp keeper using stainless steel pipe.
    Metals are used due to being more conductive. Using plastic will lower the effectiveness.

    I see... thanks for the info...
    now thinking of ICE probe... anyone using, how is the performance for 2 feet tank....?
    Where can i buy this in Singapore... i only found on amazon selling around $110...

    Not good for 2ft. You need multiple units to run nearly constantly

    Hi, has any one try the CPU cooler directly to the tank before?
    Can post some picture or step to do it....(Cant' afford chiller)...

    CPU cooler usage is from a high temperature environment to room temperature. Different type of equipment for different scenario.

    For 3ft tank, set to 25c cost about $10 a months. I'm using equipment to measure the montly power usage, not estimate .

    Depend on your purpose i guess, my tank is planted tank, so 25-27 is good. Last time i set to 26 and cost me about $8 a month, not much different. But again it depend on the weather.

    Hi shadow don't mind if I ask you what brand chiller you using for your 3ft as I am totally new
    In chiller wish to get one must scared the pub bill cost me a bomb like lenkohe but finally I got the actual answer as I want to set the temperature for my 3ft tank to 26c . So may I know what brand and reuqire chiller suitable for 3ft ? Thanks

    I'm using artica 1/10 hp, cant remember the model.

    As for kill of watt cost me around $40-$50.

    Thanks shadow, I think I better start a new thread was looking at resun and healia brand but not sure which is better.
