amano also uses this to very good effect ...
the problem is i dunno whether this is riccia or moss ...
if it is moss? what moss? ..... so many types of moss ard ...
my guess is that it is java moss ... any guesses from anybody?
he's using moss tied to stones.
i find this effect quite pleasing ....
and we dont have to worry about sloping our gravel/substrate ...
i believe this type of carpeting can last much longer than riccia ...
since moss doesnt grow as fast or as messy as riccia ...

YES! i agree with u! ... i have the same thinking also ...
do u think the moss is X-moss or java moss? or even willow moss?
Does it matter what moss? As long as you have seen the moss in submerse form before and you think it looks like what Amano is using, or better yet, YOU think it'll look good as a foreground, go ahead and use it.
From the pics, most likely it's Java moss.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
according my limited knowledge about moss ...
there are different shapes of fronds and different colours in the different type of mosses ... am i right?
i kinda like this colour though ...
but i find that it is javamoss ... wont the edges of the moss grow in a haywire manner?
That's is when you come in to pick those out using the pincer.
But do be gentle, you do not want to pull out the whole lump.
