    Looks like a Tonina species, but also it looks like a big Najas.. one particular thing about this plant, every node has a pod of some kind with so-called seeds in them. see those pods in red circles

    Anyone came across this plant? Gerald?

    but gerald, its much much bigger than the najas... does najas have those pods I mentioned?

    the size of it , roughly the same diameter as the tonina sp. 'belem'

    The diameter as big as tonina belem? I dunno leh... sometimes it could be good water fertilisation and high lighting that can cause the plant to grow much bigger than is normally seen...

    Does the leave have minute narrow teeth edges? If it does have then its not najas sp...
    I looked around and found this pic of najas indica with some pods... you think they look similar?
