    Hi,
I have just started a 3ft tank and have brought some HC as the foreground plant.

But after 1 day, all of them started melting. So i guess i must have brought the emerse form of HC. Same thing happened to the Ranunculus papulentus that i have.

My question is, how to tell if the plant at the lfs is emerse form or submerge form?

    regards

for HC you cant tell unless under microscope maybe. there are many thing that cause plant melting its best if you post you tank setup spec and water parameter.

I read that most hc cuba from lfs are grown emersed as it is more economical to do so.
